Delete Elements from Diagram and Model

An element might become inappropriate in a certain context, so you would want to remove it from the diagram in which that context is represented. It is also possible that the element becomes unnecessary in the model as a whole, so you would want to delete it altogether. You therefore have a number of situations under which you would 'delete' an element:

Just from a particular diagram
As a member of a group of elements to be removed from a diagram
From a diagram and from the model at the same time
Directly from the model, through the Project Browser

Delete an element just from a diagram

Delete a group of elements from a diagram

Delete an element from the model

Delete multiple elements from the model

If you delete elements in this way, you delete all their properties, child objects and connectors as well.
